Relaxed Boho Vest

Heading to the beach? Off to a Festival? Simply going shopping or spending the day with friends? Wear this to take your outfit to the next level!

This vest is a perfect foil to a bikini top or tank - relaxed enough to wear shopping, cool enough to wear to the beach or a festival.

The ‘one size fits most’ design means that you will be able to wear it for many many years… and make different colours, too, as required.

This pattern gives simple instructions and photographs for a simple-to make, quick to finish, vest.

Using mostly DC stitches (US term), this pattern is one that most intermediate crocheters can master quickly (and a beginner could also manage). There are two sections requiring the use of Foundation Double Crochet. I recommend learning this stitch, if you don’t already know it.

The use of Aran/Worsted yarn means that you can have your whole family outfitted without spending too much time.

REQUIREMENTS:

To make this pattern, you will need:
Approx 200m of 10ply (Aran/Worsted) weight yarn – whatever colour(s) you like.
An extra 20-50m of yarn for fringe, depending on length you prefer
Yarn needle
Crochet Hook: 10mm (US N, UK 000)
