RELAX modern shaped pullover
Drop shoulder, longer back, side slits, and wide scoop neck create a flattering silhouette. Simple yet modern.
Gentle underarm shaping(increasing) and clean short-row shoulder shaping add sophisticated look into this simple pullover.
Yarn - The samples are knitted with 100% Linen yarn. This LANG “LINO” is a very easy linen yarn to knit. The chained tape yarn doesn’t split and has soft feel. Though this is still a typical linen yarn, you should finish with wet blocking. It will soften up and drape beautifully. I highly recommend kniting this pullover with this yarn.
If you wish to knit with wool/wool blend yarn, I would recommend knitting with open gauge (drapes better with this sweater shape). The suggested gauge 22~26 yarn would work. Please check the gauge carefully before starting.(wet-blocking is recommended.)
Size - You should choose the size depending on how you would like to wear this sweater. I knitted XS-S and S-M, both sizes. They both fit nicely. Since the bigger size’s shoulder drops more, sleeves become longer. Around the chest should be 3”~6” positive ease. Sleeves are a more tighter fit. Please measure biceps(biggest part of upper arm) and allow to have 1” positive ease.
The instructions also comes with two different lengths, short(cropped length) or long. There is no shaping, so it is very easy to change the length. The front is 2” shorter than back.
Finished measurement
Bust 37( 40, 42.5, 45.5, 50.5)”
Upper arm 12.4( 13.8, 14.2, 14.6, 15.5)“
Needles - suggested needle sizes are for 100% linen yarn.
Please adjust the size to obtain the correct gauge.
Wet-blocking is recommended to get a correct gauge swatch.
Very quick to knit with the gauge of 18 sts and you will love to wear this simple modern shaped pullover!
