If you are looking for a new way to make a sweater, this recipe is for you! It creates an interestingly constructed sweater that begins in the round. At the armpits, you cast on stitches for the sleeves. They can be long, short or anywhere in between! When you reach the neck depth, you bind off and then cast on again to form a boatneck opening. It can be as wide or narrow as you like! You continue working down until you reach the original round split, then finish by grafting the back together and seaming up the sleeves. The result is a T-shaped garment with plenty of room for modifications! You can even use this technique to make a dress if you prefer - there are so many possibilities!

In order to achieve this you must start with your gauge and target measurements and this recipe will guide you through the creation of your garment!

** Yarn, yardage, gauge and needle size is completely open to what you want to make - this is a recipe for a new way to construct a sweater. Both sweaters shown on the pattern page were created using this technique. The yarn, gauge and needle size listed in the pattern page was what was used for the blue/pink cropped sweater. The pink polka dot sweater used 800 yards of yarn.

Pattern has written instructions for the technique and 6 illustrated references
