Regulation Wristlets With Thumb
Out of print.
This pattern was
available for free.
A very basic fingerless mitten pattern suitable for a beginning knitter. No gauge is given, but as the pattern was intended to make as donations for WW1 soldiers, almost any gauge will result in a warm wearable accessory due to the ribbing.
Thumb opening is made by leaving a gap when seaming up the 2x2 ribbing rectangle. This specific fingerless mitten pattern, as opposed to the other five listed after it, does require picking up stitches for the seamed thumb opening to finish it off.
No image is provided for this pattern.
Original pattern calls for:
1/2 Hank grey Knitting Yarn
1 Pair Bone Knitting Kneedles No. 3
