Regatta
See below for errata supplied by the author on June 17 2011
From the Pattern Introduction: This pattern uses blocks of double crochet arranged at an angle to create the ripple effect
Pattern repeat:This pattern is worked in a multiple of 7 chains plus 3.
Notes on gauge:As with all of the stitch patterns in this book, the gauge is flexible depending on your yarn and hook choice.
Related Patterns:Pattern Number 95, Boston Blue, is the same stitch pattern with different color striping.
Pattern Number 94 in the book, page 63.
There’s an error in Row 1; this means you need to start with a multiple of 7 chains plus 2 and work the beginning of Row 1 as follows:
Row 1: (RS) 1 dc into 4th ch from hook, 1 dc into next ch, * sk next 3 chs, 1 sc into next ch - the remainder of Row 1 is correct as printed, as are Rows 2 & 3.
NOTE: This errata was sent from the editor in May 2010:
Pattern 94 Regatta on page 63. It is slightly different than that supplied above.
Row 1 should read: 1 dc into 4th ch from hook, 2 dc into next ch, * sk next 3 chs, 1 sc in next ch, ch 3, 1 dc into each of next 3 chs; rep from * to last 4 chs, sk next 3 chs, 1 sc into last ch, turn.
