Reels is a hat that uses mini skeins in a way that pops the individual colors that are in the set. This is a design that works with a five-color multi pack or ombre —it is completely versatile. The goal was a design that used colorwork, but with a method that even a novice could do without fear.

When I saw the design that was created by the pattern, I couldn’t get the image of a film reel out of my mind. Movies act as an escape and a form of enjoyment. I think you will find this pattern to be similar: it’s easy enough to relax and enjoy, but with enough activity that you will
stay engaged — like a summer blockbuster movie.

There are two sizes, but the difference is in the length of the hat, and therefore the amount of slouch.
