Yarn: BC GARN Alba (sport-weight yarn; 100% cotton; 160m / 175yds per 50g ball)
Shade: Mustard (EB027); 6 (6, 6, 7, 7, 7, 8, 8) balls
OR approx 826 (865, 922, 993, 1029, 1091, 1154, 1199)m / 903 (945, 1008, 1086, 1125, 1194, 1292, 1311)yds of sport-weight yarn.
Gauge: 28 sts & 32 rows = 10cm / 4” over Chart pattern on 3mm needles, after blocking.
22 sts & 30 rows = 10cm / 4” over St st on 3mm needles, after blocking.
Needles: 3mm / US 2.5 circular needle, 80cm / 32” length 3mm / US 2.5 double-pointed needles
Always use a needle/hook size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.
Notions: 4 stitch markers (including one contrasting for beg of the round), cable needle, scrap yarn, safety pin, tapestry needle.
Notes: Reduplicate shorts are knit seamlessly in the round from the bottom up in a lace and cable pattern, with pockets! The legs are worked separately, then joined to shape the hips and waist. The waist is finished with a picot waistband and i-cord belt. Take time to familiarise yourself with the Chart pattern before beginning
