This Beanie is worked top down and the body is made up of 2 round repeat that works up quickly . The textured front post stitches create a visual appeal and also makes the beanie reversible.

The Ice Yarns Faorite Tweed with a 5.5 mm hook makes an adult size beanie measuring 8.5” in height and 22” in circumference.

To change the size to fit a child , the pattern as written works very well with Hobby Store Anti Pill Aran yarn and 4 mm hook giving a beanie that measures 7.5” in height and 20” in circumference.

Instructions are also provided to make it in baby size.

The simple FpDc, BpDc ribbing ensures that the pattern flows seamlessly into the brim.

The Wrong side of the beanie looks like a waffle and can be worn that way too!
