Red Hot Sweater
Chunky seed-stitch shows its casual cool in a roomy drop-shoulder cowl-neck pullover. Worked in fiery red wool, this weekend wonder is a breeze to stitch.
Directions are for smallest size with larger sizes in parentheses.
Knitted Measurements:
- Bust at underarm: 110.5 (118, 127, 137, 147) cm
- Length: 70 (70, 71, 71, 72.5) cm
- Sleeve width at upper arm: 40.5 (40.5, 43, 43, 45.5) cm
Model in print images is wearing size large.
Vogue Knitting Quick Knits suggests substituting the original discontinued yarns with:
- Filatura Di Crosa/Tahki-Stacy Charles, Inc. Luna (wool 5) in #223 red
- Filatura Di Crosa/Tahki-Stacy Charles, Inc. Butterfly (mohair/ acrylic 5) in #408 red
Vogue Knitting Classic Patterns suggests substituting with a worsted-weight yarn and DK-weight yarn with fiber content similar to original yarns, i.e. wool and mohair/acrylic blend, respectively.
