Errata: On the written instructions for round 8 of the body of the hat, the last k5 should be a k4. Chart is correct.
Difficulty: Intermediate
Yarn: Manos del Uruguay Rittenhouse 5-ply (100% merino wool; 241 yds/100 grams) 1 skein, shown in Natural
Gauge: 18 stitches and 24 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch before blocking.
Finished size: fits a 22” head
Needles: 16” US 6 (4.0mm) circular needle, 16” US 8 (5.0mm) circular needle, US 8 dpn’s.
Notions: 1 stitch marker, a cable needle, and a yarn needle
Stitches Used: knit, purl, knit into the front and back (kfb), knit 2 together (k2tog), slip slip knit (ssk), purl 2 together (p2tog), right twist (rt), left twist (lt). All stitches are explained within the pattern.
