Rattlesnake Wreath

Rattlesnake door wreath crochet pattern (complete with rattles in the tail) uses polyester yarn and a 12” Styrofoam wreath to make a unique door decoration. Add orange and black ribbon for Halloween or a “Don’t Tread on Me” plaque and flag ribbon to celebrate Independence Day.
Finished wreath measures 17” tall (excluding ribbon) by 12.5” wide.
Skill level: Intermediate
Materials needed: 
Worsted weight yarn 
4 oz. tan 
1 oz. brown 
½ oz. white 
2 yards red 
Size H (5.0 mm) crochet hook 
Small amount of Fiberfil 
12” Styrofoam wreath form 
Yarn needle 
2 black plastic eyes, 10 mm 
2 small rattle inserts, 2 cm
