Size 8 (5 mm) circular needle 29” (74 cm) long
Or size to obtain gauge. As shawl gets bigger,
you may want to use two 29” needles or a longer circular needle.
Stitch marker, large stitch holder or long strand of cotton to hold stitches, tapestry needle

Gauge:
14 sts = 4” (10 cm) over St st, blocked
Row gauge is not critical for this project. Knit to desired length.
