RAKURAI
落雷 (Japanese) - thunderbolt, bolt of lightning.
Inspired by many visits to Japanese Shinto shrines I have noticed these sacred objects that are most frequently decorated with a hemp rope and unusual white paper origami representing a bolt of lightning. This chevron-shaped scarf is created based on the look of that striking origami and is worked in the round continuously while shaping of the tips takes place. Great decorative scarf with a bit of exaggerated statement.
