Rainbow Waves
Shawl
A large shawl with amazing drape, just right for cooler summer evenings.
Materials: 1 Scheepjes Whirl in 750 Jumping Jelly, 1 Scheepjes Whirlette in 867 Sizzle.
Start from the centre of the Whirl and continue with the Whirlette when you come to the end.
Notions: 3.00mm hook and a needle for sewing in ends.
Tension: 20sts and 11rows to 10x10cm
Thread Painted Scarves
Smaller triangle scarves made using the “Thread Painting” technique. Using the yarn double makes them thick and warm, perfect for adding colour to those cold winter days.
Materials: West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4ply, 1 of each in Rouge 1000, Turmeric 358, Sunflower 1001, Chocolate Lime 396, Cornflower 325, Juniper 157, Amethyst 1003.
These 7 balls will make 2 triangle scarves (one starting with Rouge and one starting with Amethyst) and one long scarf which will use up any remaining yarn.
Notions: 5.00mm hook and a needle for sewing in ends.
Tension: 13sts and 9rows to 10x10cm
