What do you do with yarn that is too pretty to throw away but not enough for another project? Make a hat.

The Rainbow Terrapin is a lighter winter hat made with fingering weight yarn for those of us who live in places where it doesn’t get that cold during the winter. The pattern has written instruction for four different sizes. It uses hidden floats, a seamless join and can be made with less than 305 yards or 85 grams of yarn total. I completed this hat in about 3 hours making it a quick gift and it uses very little yarn.
