Rainbow Ripple
by Joan Kokaska
This is the most colorful afghan we’ve ever seen - and one of the most delightful to make. Try it as a bedspread on a child’s bed; or, create a completely different look by working the afghan in two colors only; cream for the background and brown for the color rows, for example.
Pattern calls for 32 oz worsted weight yarn in white for the main color. Pattern calls for 3 1/2 oz each worsted weight yarn in the following rainbow colors: purple, medium blue, turquoise, medium green, bright lime green, bright yellow, light orange, dark orange and red.
