8x 25 g worsted weight + 5 mm

What’s this: This is the Rainbow convertible cowl.

Why should I make this: Rainbow is a super long convertible cowl, that you can also wear as a slouch, or doubled for even more warmth!

When will this get the most use: Whenever it gets chilly!

Who is it for: Take 2 of the 8 colours out and it is perfect for Pride. Keep it as is, and it’s for your most colourful friend!

Where do I start: This pattern is rated Easy - you’ll need to be comfortable with (or eager to learn) the basic crochet stitches & colour changing. You will need 8x 25g of Worsted weight yarn (used here, sampler pack of worsted superwash merino by Rain City Knits) & a 5 mm hook. Other notions: a yarn needle, and some stitch markers.

Pourquoi je l’aime tant? Rainbow est un très long col transformable en une tuque super slouchy, ou en col encore plus chaud lorsque doublé sur lui-même!

Quand sera-t-elle utile? Dès que le temps se refroidira.

À qui s’adresse ce modèle? En enlevant 2 des 8 couleurs, Rainbow est parfait pour la Fierté LGBTQ! Tel quel, il est pour tous vos amis colorés.

Je commence où? Modèle Facile – vous devez être confortable (ou avoir envie d’apprendre) les mailles de base au crochet & les changements de couleur. Vous aurez besoin de 8 x 25g de laine de poids ‘Worsted’ (ici, sampler pack de worsted superwash merino par Rain City Knits) & d’un crochet 5 mm. Vous aurez aussi besoin d’une aiguille à laine et de marque-points.
