Rainbow Cardi
This adorable cardigan is bound to be a firm favourite with both boys and girls. With its cheerful stripes, easy to use zip fastening and comfy stand-up collar, it’s so easy to wear.
This cardigan isn’t just made for good looks. It’s also designed to stand up to plenty of everyday rough and tumble. It’s easy to care for because it’s made from Bergere de France Barisienne, which is a machine washable acrylic that will keep its shape and colour for years to come.
If you’ve never tried knitting a stripy pattern before, this cardigan is a great place to start. The stripe pattern is so much easier than it looks, and it’ll certainly impress both kids and their mums and dads! This design is also a good opportunity to learn some interesting new construction techniques. The sleeves are picked up and knitted from the top down, which means there’s very little seaming to do once you’ve finished knitting. Just sew up the sleeve seems, add the zip, and you’re ready to do!
