This crochet pattern pack is for 80’s cartoon throwback, Rainbow Brite!

An original pattern by Fat Lady Crochet. Please note this is a crochet pattern, not the finished physical item.

This INTERMEDIATE crochet pattern pack is written in US terms and is designed for crocheters with a solid understanding of simple crochet, and who don’t mind a little bit of sewing. Lots of photos are included to help you along the way.

Materials for Rainbow Brite
• 100 grams each size 4 (worsted weight) yarn in Skin Tone, Blue
• 50 grams size 4 (worsted weight) yarn in Red, Yellow, Purple, Green, White, Light Yellow
• Scrap amount of Black yarn
• Crochet hook size 4.0 mm
• Tapestry needle
• Fiber Fill
• Stitch marker
• 2 x 1/2-inch black buttons ONLY if piece is intended for people over 3 years of age.

Notes on Rainbow Brite
• Rainbow Brite’s legs, body and head are worked in one piece.
• Rainbow Brite is worked in continuous rounds from the bottom up.
• Rainbow Brite’s arms, skirt, boots, belt buckle, sleeves and hair are worked separately and sewn on.
• The finished piece is approximately 18 inches tall.
• Use buttons for eyes ONLY if piece is intended for people over 3 years of age. Otherwise, eyes must be embroidered on.
