For a quick knit with a lot of flair, knit the Rain cowl. Finish off outfits year-round with its understated elegance. This single drape cowl can be knit in two eye-catching sizes.
Long and breezy, knit the Shine cowl for a dramatic statement. This pattern features an infinity drape and can be double looped for lofty texture and added warmth.
Construction: These cowls are knit in the round from the bottom up.
Techniques used: Knit, purl, k2tog, skp, single and double yarn overs, and working in the round.
Sizes:
Rain: Small (Large) - Note: Size small (silver) is pictured on model.
Approximately 25” (26”) circumference at top opening, 34” (39”) circumference at bottom opening, and 8” (10”) height at center.
Shine: Infinity
Approximately 51” circumference at top opening, 54” circumference at bottom opening, and 10” height at center.
Yarn: Fingering weight:
Rain: 250 (350) yards
Shine: 450 yards
Needles:
Rain: US 4 circular needle (24”)
Shine: US 4 and US 6 circular needles (32” or 40”)
Gauge: 24 sts & 40 rows = 4 inches in Honeycomb Lace with US 4
