Radiant Ripples Tee
The Radiant Ripples is a lightly textured summer tee that is fun to knit and would fit in any wardrobe. You can choose any number of colors and any stripe sequence to fit your style.
The tee is worked seamlessly from the top down in a slip-stitch pattern. Starting from the rolled neck, rows are worked back and forth to raise the back neckline for a better fit. The yoke is then worked in the round to a sleeve separation. The sleeve sts are put on hold while the body is finished and then returned to the needle to finish the cuffs.
The tee is designed to suit a wide range of body types. Available in sizes XS to 5XL, this design ensures that everyone can find their perfect fit.
Fiber choices (see the detailed info for each sample below):
I chose to knit my 2 first samples (1 and 2) in soft pima cotton to stay comfortable in Texas heat and humidity. Those samples are more structured and textured. Sample 3 is worked in a merino/silk blend that creates a drapey fabric. Sample 4 is worked in cotton/viscose blends that create a fabric that is both cool and drapey. You can choose any DK weight yarn that fits the gauge.
