Raddle
Raddle is a cowl worked in a reversible two-color garter stitch with slip stich zig zag stripes. Color A is Dragonfly Valkyrie in Black Walnut, Color B is Dragonfly Valkyrie in Denali.
The colors chosen for the cowl should be enough of a contrast to see the slipped stitches. Two semi-solids, like those in the photos, work well. If you have a variegated be sure to use a solid to contrast, and make sure you swatch to see how it looks.
It is not a difficult stitch pattern, but it would be useful to work a swatch (or speed swatch) before casting on for the whole thing. This will help you to understand the rhythm of the pattern.
I gave the gauge in garter stitch, if you slip stitch tightly, your gauge will be a bit smaller.
