Rachel Cardigan
Rachel Cardigan Sweater
Rachel is a great cardigan sweater pattern for a beginner!
Rachel is a top down seamless cardigan sweater with raglan shaping and an easy lace panel running down each front panel. It has a slightly oversized fit with 2 - 2.5” of positive ease. To begin, you work the neckline in short rows then move onto raglan increases that are worked throughout the yoke to create the classic raglan shaping. Once you get to the sleeve divide, you place sleeves onto waste yarn and will continue working the body. The sleeves are worked separately in the round. Collar and button band stitches are picked up and worked later. The front panels have an easy to knit lace pattern that adds a classy look to this cardigan.
Yoke instructions are written out separately for each size, making it super easy to follow along!
