Cables are FUN!

This adult size hat will stretch from 20” - 24”.

You can either knit it in rows or in rounds. Both versions have their advantages!

Here is what you would need:

FOR HAT WORKED FLAT (not in the round): Straight or 24” circular knitting needles size US 8 (5 mm) and straight or 24” circular knitting needles size US 9(6 mm) or size to obtain gauge

FOR HAT WORKED IN THE ROUND: 16” Circular knitting needles size US 8 (5 mm) and 16” circular circular knitting needles size US 9(6 mm) or size to obtain gauge and 1 set of double pointed needles in size US 9 (6 mm), one stitch marker

For the tan hat Rowan Lima was held together with one strand of lace mohair yarn (e.g. Rowan Kidsilk Haze or Debblie Bliss Party Angel). The result is awesome!

The hat is fun to make either way - for sure!
