Quick and easy lacy shawl is perfect for cool summer nights. Suitable for beginner crocheters. This shawl can be made with approx. 300 yards of sock or sport weight yarn (both weights shown in photos).

It’s a basic triangle shawl pattern with a slightly ruffled lace edge. Can be worn as a scarf or opened up for a lightweight shawl.

Gauge is not critical for this pattern but sock weight will produce a smaller shawl than sport weight yarn.

The hook size is larger than is typically recommended for this weight yarn but I find it produces a nice drape. If you tend to crochet very loosely, use a smaller hook.
