Queen of Leaves
by Mia Rinde
A friend was getting married and I wanted to help in one of the best ways a knitter can, with hours of knitting. Filled with good-luck wishes, this shawl is a celebration of leaves, nupps and love.
Queen of Leaves is a triangle shaped shawl. It requires approximately 650 meters of lace weight yarn. Use needle size that gives you a nice lacy effect. The shawl can be enlarged by adding additional repeats.
White shawl used 1 skein Kampes Redgarn 100% Wool, 1094 yd/1000 m per 100g on 3 mm (US 2 ½) needles. Blocked size is 170 x 80 cm (67 x 31 inches). Gauge is 18 stitches 26 rows per 10 cm in leaf pattern.
