Queen of Hearts Cardigan
Queen of Hearts is a raglan style garter stitch cardigan with mosaic edges. Knit from the top down in two colors.
From the Two Pair collection. Mother of Purl for Quince & Co.
Inspired by a deck of playing cards. Each design takes the meaning of those cards and makes them into wearable reminders. The cards in a regular deck of playing cards correspond to a Tarot card in the Minor Arcana.
The Queen of Hearts- Cups.
The Queen of Cups Ruled by double water in the tarot reminds us to nourish ourselves and others, to be creative, to share our feelings, to heal and to do what makes us feel supported and nurtured. When you make and wear this garment my hope for you is that it is out of love for the art, as an act of sacred creativity. Pick your favorite colors, wear them proudly, and show up in the world as a person with an abundance of peace and compassion, be clothed in the reminder that you showed up to nourish yourself in the making of this garment.
The cardigan features a decorative neckline, 3/4 length sleeves, and raglan shaping. Whether you’re a seasoned knitter or looking to expand your skills, this pattern offers engaging two color portions and a long stretch of garter stitch for peaceful knitting.
