Hat and cowl are both worked from the bottom up in the round seamlessly. The garter edgings are done on the smaller circular needles.

Set uses Blue Sky Fibers Skyland #2402 Meridian (MC, blue, 150 yds used for the cowl, 115 yds used for the hat, 265 total yds used for both), and #2401 North Star (CC, silver, 100 yds used for the cowl, 100 yds used for the hat, 200 total yds used for both).
