Quantum Leap
Join me in my group, Heather Anderson Designs, and let’s knit!
Quantum Leap--a huge, often sudden, increase or change in something.
Slightly asymmetrical, this triangular shawl lets you pair two gorgeous skeins of yarn. The garter stitch section is simple enough to show off a variegated yarn or a gradient, while the broderie anglaise pattern compliments a solid or tonal yarn beautifully.
The small size is more scarf-like (85”/216 cm x 16”/40 cm) while the larger size plays nicely as a scarf or a shawl (100”/254 cm x 17.5”/45 cm). Yardage suggestions are given, however this shawl is flexible enough to accommodate a variety of yardages.
This shawl may be worked with lighter or heavier weight yarns. If you change the yarn weight, make sure that you choose a needle size that gives you the drape you desire in the fabric. Yardage requirements will change based on yarn weight and gauge.
