Quadrille is a lace doily for experienced beginner to intermediate knitters, using basic stitches in a repetitive pattern. You should be familiar with knitting in the round, the yarn over, and decreases before you start this pattern. Both written instructions and a chart are included in this pattern.

Quadrille begins with a very simple yarn over pattern. This pattern uses an optional crochet bind off, and instructions are given here for this method. However, if you wish, you may use any loose bind off technique. It may be blocked into a square or octogon shape.

Quadrille is also available on the Knit Picks website, where you can find it as part of A Trio of Knitted Doilies. Rondeau Small Lace Doily and Polonaise Small Lace Doily are included, and the set is priced at $2.99.
