Quackosaurus
As a member of the Yarnosaurus species, the Quackosaurus spends her time lazing around the resort areas of Australia, unsuccessfully trying to blend with the “in crowd”. Not built for speed, agility or sports, Quackosaurus prefers to be a spectator, using the spines on her frill to wave off bothersome insects. With her webbed hands and feet, generously proportioned behind and luscious lips, the Quackosaurus is most comfortable relaxing by the pool under an umbrella, sipping margaritas.
Quackosaurus is a member of the Yarnosaurus family. Her siblings include Geckosaurus, Splashosaurus and Arachnosaurus.
As this is a stuffed toy, use a size smaller needle than is recommended for the yarn to achieve a tighter fabric. (Therefore gauge is not important.)
You need approx 50g each of two contrasting colours.
For small children, make felt eyes or sew them on instead of using buttons. A small piece of dowel as a backbone ensures Quackosaurus can be posed, but this is optional.
