Pythagoras
Pattern again available for Ravelry download - May 2015 - see it in person at Yarn it and Haberdashery in Grandview - Columbus, OH.
Watch for a new Ebook of Knitting patterns available starting this Monday thanks to the great work of the folks at Suburban Knits. This Ebook will include my design for the Pythagoras Shawl and will be available for purchase on Ravelry through August 31. All proceeds will go to benefit those affected by the tornado in Moore, OK. Once E-book is published on June 3, this pattern will only be available there through the end of August.
Inspired by the colors of the Greek Isles - and, of course, by math - The Pythagoras Shawl is a colorful, triangular shawl worked primarily in garter stitch with a combined knit and crocheted border to bring all the colors together.
This beautiful shawl knits up quickly and will not only be a breath of fresh air but a welcomed splash of color on a cool evening.
Debuted at TNNA - Columbus, 2012 at the Baah Yarn booth.
Difficulty: Easy - uses basic knitting and crochet stitches.
4 skeins at 234 yards / skein. Very little yarn is left over, so almost the full amount will be used.
Finished size is approximately: 56” x 38” x 38”
