Putting on the Ritz är en del av kollektionen ”The Roaring Twenties” som leker med 20-talets grafiska former och tankar om symmetri. Färgstråken i sjalen avslutas med var sitt hål som skapas enligt knapphålsprincipen. Den fulla effekten av hålen uppnås efter blockning då de får sin riktiga form.

Den här sjalen stickas fram och tillbaka i rätstickning och från höger till vänster. När sjalen är färdigstickad virkas den övre kanten och tofsar fästes i den nedre kanten. Den färdiga sjalen mäter ca 210cm mellan spetsarna..

Garnåtgång: 3 härvor sock till grundfärgen och ca 5g av varje kontrastfärg.

Putting on the Ritz is part of the collection ”The Roaring Twenties” that plays with the shapes and symmetry of the 20’s. As the famous song suggests you should go “where fashion sits” and Putting on the Ritz is a shawl to feel sharp in! The colour stripes of the shawl all end with a button hole, that creates a perfect circle when blocked to finished measurements.

The shawl is knit back and forth in garter stitch and from right to left. When the knitting is done, the top border is crocheted and tassels are added to get the right feeling of flare. The finished garment measures approximately 210cm from side to side.

3 50g skeins are needed for the main colour and approximately 5g of each contrast colour.
