This pattern can be knit in pretty much any yarn and with any size needles corresponding to the type of yarn you choose. The pumpkin will be larger if you use a heavier/thicker yarn and larger needles, and you will need to have more stuffing for a larger pumpkin. A lighter/thinner yarn and smaller needles will produce a smaller pumpkin. Why not make a whole bunch of them in different sizes? :slightly_smiling_face:
