My husband’s favorite holiday is Halloween, and he gave me the idea for this doll about a year ago. I didn’t feel like I had enough time to design, test, and release this pattern before pumpkin season would be over, though, so I have been pondering this idea for the past year. My husband, of course, pestering me all along the way asking me when I was going to make it. Haha! But now, here she is and she came out better than I could have anticipated. I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as I enjoyed designing her!
Some have called it a Topsy-Turvy, reversible, or 2 in 1 doll.

This pattern was fully tested by testers with varying levels of experience.

DIFFICULTY: Advanced Beginner

SIZE:
Doll – 6” tall when standing (without the hat)
Pumpkin – 5 ½” tall
* If the same gauge is used as the pattern indicates.

MATERIALS:
– Worsted weight yarn in skin color (I used Hobby Lobby’s I love this Cotton! in Taupe) and 4 + colors for the pumpkin, stem, tendril, top, and hair.
– Small amount of embroidery floss for smile and eyelashes (optional).
– Size G (4.0mm) Crochet Hook
– Yarn Needle
– Stitch Marker
– fiberfill
– 6mm safety eyes
– Black felt (optional) for pumpkin face.
– Fabric glue or hot glue (optional) for gluing felt to pumpkin.
