Puffy Cuffs Baby Socks
These relatively simple, two-at-a-time toe-up baby socks with a gentle ribbing and repeating cross-bar motif look way more complicated than they are!
Variegated yarns become self-striping at this size, and the cuffs are constructed with two strands of yarn on a larger set of needles with the “inverse” of the main sock stitch pattern and then fold over gently for a lightly contrasting “puffy” cuff.
Different combinations of striping, variegated, and solid yarns can make this sock look dramatically different for many fun combinations for your little one, without increasing the difficulty.
This pattern is suitable for new and experienced sock knitters alike.
The pattern can be easily adjusted for older babies by adding to the “ribbing” on the sides and making the feet longer.
The pattern uses less than a quarter skein of 100g Stroll Tonal and even less of a single 50g ball of Stroll Solid, you will have plenty left to make additional socks for other babies or for you!
