This pattern is suitable for Advanced and some Intermediate crocheters

Materials
4 Seasons Brighton Cotton Blend Yarn (50% Cotton 50% Cotton, 50g/1.7 oz, 95m/103 yards, #3 DK/light weight)
Colour 1: 1 ball of cream
Colour 2: 1 ball of turquoise mix (or any other colour of your choice)
4.5mm crochet hook
42cm length of cream ribbon (no thicker than 1cm)
Scissors, Tapestry needle

Size
Finished object 13cm x 16cm
Granny square 11cm x 11cm

Gauge
5 cm x 5 cm = 3 rows x 9 stitches of ‘Double Crochet’

Notes
There are two parts to this pattern, the granny square and the top of the bag. The gift bag is the same on both sides so you’ll be making the same piece twice and then attaching the two pieces together.
Any form of yarn can be used for this pattern

Stitches used (US terminology)
SL ST - Slip Stitch
CH - Chain
SC - Single Crochet
DC - Double Crochet
EDC - Extended Double Crochet
2DC TOG - Double Crochet 2 Together
4EDC TOG - Extended Double Crochet 4 Together
POP ST - Popcorn stitch
