Puff Lace Mittens
Puff-Lace Mittens featured textured Puff Lace on the back of the hand and comfortable smooth stitching on the palms.
Make them in a weekend! - Suited to intermediate level crocheters.
Published in English, both UK & US terms.
I designed them using a 3.5mm hook with 2ply laceweight merino yarn, but explored how they can also be made with 4ply sock yarn and a 3mm hook to slightly larger dimensions.
Read about it in this BLOG POST.
The bottom line is they are:
-great stash busters as can be made in 2ply (3.5mm hook - delicate light mitten) OR sock weight 4ply (3mm hook and firm tension - firm reassuring hug for your hands)
-versatile: completely different looks from pretty & floral to no-nonsense stripey geometric when made in 2 colours
-between the 2 yarn weight options they provide 4 sizes!

Medium: to suit hand circumference 19cm (lace or sock weight)
