Provence Blanket
Inspired by the picturesque countryside of Provence and Tuscany, with their gorgeous palette of colors and beautiful landscapes: blooming poppies, lavender fields, vineyards and hay rolls, this blanket/play mat is full of different textures for little hands to touch and explore!
Each stitch pattern is based on the single crochet stitch with a twist. Learn, practice or simply have fun with these stitch patterns, which use spike stitches, bobbles, post stitches, etc.
You can make your blanket almost any size by working more or fewer starting sts (see the note at the beginning of each section for the pattern repeat) or even switch the patterns for each part of the blanket.
