Provence is a garment that smells of summer and sun.

This pattern is worked from the bottom up, the first part is worked in the round until the underarm; the upper part is worked back and forth in two separate pieces, front and back.
Shoulders are sewn with Kitchener stitch; stitches will be picked up along the armhole where a graceful ruffle motif will be created.
We used a wonderful linen and viscose yarn with an elegant look, which in the pattern is used alternately in both single and two threads.
A very simple lace stitch embellishes the top both on the front and on the back, the yarn used double in two slightly different colors creates a pleasant melange texture, the slightly uneven thickness of the yarn also embellishes the stockinette stitch parts (such as the central triangle of the neckline) and minimizes defects.
Provence comes in 9 sizes (from 81 to 167 cm / 31.8 to 65.7 “ ] bust circumference). The size guide and the table on PDF will help you choose the fit you prefer.

Provence è un capo che profuma d’estate e di sole.

Questo modello si lavora dal basso verso l’lalto, la prima parte si lavora in tondo dopodiché all’altezza del sottomanica si divide il lavoro in due parti e si lavora in piano (avanti e indietro) separatamente il davanti e il dietro del top.
Successivamente verranno cucite le spalle con cucitura a punto maglia (invisibile). Verranno poi riprese le maglie nell‘apertura maniche dove si realizzerà un grazioso motivo a voulant.
Abbiamo usato un meraviglioso filato in lino e viscosa dall’aspetto elegante, che nel pattern viene usato alternativamente sia ad un capo e a due capi.
Un semplicissimo punto a traforo impreziosisce il top sia sul davanti che sul dietro, il filato usato a due capi di due colori leggermente diversi crea una piacevole texture melange, lo spessore lievemente disomogeneo del filato impreziosisce anche le parti a maglia rasata (come il triangolo centrale dello scollo) e minimizza i difetti.
Nel pattern sono disponibili 9 taglie (da 81 a 167 cm di circonferenza busto), la guida alle taglie e la tabella nel PDF ti aiuteranno a scegliere la vestibilitá che preferisci.
