Proportion Socks
by Laura Fahlin
Proportional Triangles: If a line is drawn in a triangle parallel to one of the sides, and it intersects the other two sides then the segments are of proportional lengths.
Designed for the Sock Knitters Anonymous Science & Math challenge (and my engineer dad), the design also resembles a structure truss which amuses my bridge designing father.
Suitable for both men and women. Four sizes (S, M, L, & XL) are charted so you can make these socks for almost anyone.
Yardage approx. 360 (380, 400, 420) yds
