Project 6: Tweed Mittens
From the description: These classic adult’s mittens are crocheted in counterpane stitch with a turned-back cuff. The child’s mittens are worked in single crochet and you could even make a simple crochet cord to attach the mittens so that they aren’t dropped or lost.
Stated yardage yields one pair of mittens, either adult or child size.
Gauge:
- Adult’s: 12sts to 3.75” / 8cm, 4 rows to 2” / 5cm
- Child’s: 9sts and 11 rows to 2” / 5cm
