The design for this sweater takes inspiration from the wool sweaters worn by cadets at military academies around the world. This sweater imagines what a future cadet might wear at a space academy: a classically structured garment with subtle geometric elements suitable for space travellers as well as women of our time.
Techniques
Stitches: knit, purl, ktbl, ptbl, k2tog, ssk, m1L, m1R, k2tog
Cast On: long-tail, knitted cast on, backwards loop cast on, provisional crochet cast on (neck)
Bind Off: I-Cord (hem, cuffs)
Techniques: short rows/w&t, knitting flat, knitting in the round, picking up and knitting, crochet chain, I-cord
