PRISME VEST

Is a classic vest with a yoke in a beautiful graphic design that uses repetition to create a modern pattern based on Nordic traditions.

With the PRISME pattern I am playing with the illusion of the reflecting prism.

The vest is intended to be worn with 2-10 cm of positive ease in the bust.

Yarn
This design is made with Saga and Tilia, both from Filcolana.
Saga is 100% wool, 50 g = ca. 300 m
Tilia is 70% kid mohair, 30% silk, 25 g = ca. 210 m.

The vest is knitted with one strand of each yarn held together.

Main color
2 (2) 2 (3) 3 skeins of Saga, color 121 (Bordeaux) AND
3 (3) 3 (4) 4 skeins of Tilia, color 350 (Sienna)

Pattern color
1 skein of Saga, color 950 (Very Light Grey) AND
1 skein of Tilia, color 336 (Latte)

Gauge
21 sts x 29 rounds = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette and pattern on 4 mm needles with two strands held together.

Needles and notions
Circular needles 3,5 and 4 mm (80 or 100 cm)
Circular needle 4 mm (40 cm)
Double pointed needles 4 mm (or you can use magic loop)
Stitch markers or loops of brightly colored yarn
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
