If, like most knitters, you have a stash of beautiful ball ends, why not use them to create lovely hair accessories and pretty gift knits using this quick and easy pattern.

You can also use it to make hair accessories to sell online or in person as long as you mention that the pattern is from Ebony and Teal.

The pattern is perfect for a beginner and only involves knitting flat.

Materials:

2 knitting needles - see tension advice in pattern
5-10g of fancy or pretty yarn e.g. mohair, eyelash or variegated yarn)
Oddment of yarn or embroidery floss in a complementary colour
Acrylic/polyfil toy stuffing
1 elastic hairband per hair bobble
1 tapestry needle for finishing

Techniques: Cast on, Cast off, Increase, Decrease

Stitches: Stocking stitch
