These socks can be for anyone who:
a) gets hot feet, but the floor gets cold (this is me)!
b) wears compression socks and wants something to make them look more attractive
c) gets really cold feet, and so needs 2 layers!
Structure:
- Fitted Toe
- Split rows - half “lace”, half solid (linked) stitches
- Slight shaping to accommodate heel
- Rib cuff at the top
Basic stitches (and a few optional non-traditional stitches) are used to create these gorgeous tube socks. They’re perfect for lazing around the house on a cool day, or for wearing as extra padding under some firm boots, or in slip-ons to show off the lace-work.
Choose a beautiful DK-weight yarn in your favorite color(s). Use long-color-change, variegated, solid or hand painted yarns to create visually differing results.
You can also use cheap acrylic yarns to make a lots of pairs in different colors.
