Preppy Alligator….you’ve seen him on shirts, and now you can wear him on your head! My test-knitter, Sandima on Ravelry, stranded this hat beautifully, with no puckers. But if you’re like me, sometimes, when stranding over large patches of one color, you get unwanted puckers. I have eliminated the problem by ALWAYS stranding every two sts, regardless of the color used. This results in a texture that looks like a subtle, embedded ribbing. It is intentional and eliminates those unwanted, misplaced puckers. Fun to knit and fun to wear. And look for the matching Preppy Alligator socks, too!
