Capture the beauty of a flower-studded summer prairie in this long cowl. Stripes in floral colors alternate with textured bands.
Difficulty Easy
Finished Size 47.5” circumference and 7” tall.
Yarn Quince & Co. Chickadee (100% American wool): #119 twig (brown; A), #113 clay (lt orange; B), #142 sedum (dk orange; C), #141 wasabi (dk green; D), and #130 split pea (lt green; E), 1 skein each.
Needles Size 5 (3.75 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Waste yarn; stitch holder; tapestry needle.
Gauge 22 sts and 32 rows = 4” in St st.
Notes This cowl is cast on using a provisional method, then worked back and forth in rows and grafted together using Kitchener stitch.
