FROM THE front, Sarah Hatton’s design
is a neat, well fitting shell top with a
high neckline. Turn around, though,
and there’s a surprise - a lovely diamond
mesh fabric, paired with a deep, shaped
lower edge that’s pleated in the centre.
The hems, armhole borders and
neckband are worked in moss stitch.
Sarah has knitted her top using Rowan’s
Summerlite, a 4ply cotton that offers
well defined stitches and a smooth
fabric. It is available in a range of soft
pastel shades and bright hues.
