This pattern was initially published as a Spring/Summer mystery Knit Along (KAL).

I like wearing tank-tops and sleeveless summer dresses. But there are times when you need a little cover up. This was my inspiration to create this garment. You can knit it as a vest or as a short-sleeved cardigan. It will end up with a Spring/Summer wardrobe staple that you will use over and over again.

The garment is knit from the bottom-up in seamless construction. It can be finished as a vest by simply knitting a ribbing around the armholes or with short sleeves.

Two sets of instructions are provided for the sleeves, the first set is for top-down seamlessly knit sleeves and the second set is for traditionally knit sewn in sleeves. Both sleeve versions look the same on the finished cardigan.
